We are using some of our top donor cows to produce high quality Angus progeny via Embryo Transfer.
The decision was made to join the remaining  registered Angus females to Limousin bulls to increase our production of  Lim-Flex.

Angus Profile

Over the past several years, Birubi has built upon its initial stud herd with the aim of creating excellence in the Angus Breed. Hand picked females have been acquired from such studs as; Ardrossan, Banquet, Comfort Hill, Merric and Millah Murrah.
Only the best of these females are being used in the embryo transfer programs.

For Example

Banquet Dream T34 was purchased in 2002 at the National Expo with an excellent heifer calf at foot for $26500. She was in calf at the time of the sale and produced twin heifer calves. Since then she has been flushing well, and the first of her embryo calves by Roths Millcreek Unique are living up to expectations. T34 regrettably died of snakebite but we are waiting to see which one of her daughters is going to prove herself to step into the donor program.

Comfort Hill Jedda T19 was purchased as a heifer in 1999. Birubi showcased Jedda 2001; winning her class at Sydey Royal show, and as a mature cow she was awarded Senior Champion Angus Female in 2003.

Willow Fields Champagne N99 is another great dam who has produced several outstanding calves for Birubi. One son was used as a herd sire.

Ardrossan Wilcoola U55 is a moderately framed, structurally correct, fertile cow who will add excellence to our herd for years to come.

Millah Murrah Helen U66 and Helen X36 - Helen X36 is a Future Direction daughter of Helen U66; a Scotch Cap 14 daughter.

Continuing with Birubi’s plan of excellence, the above outstanding females are being joined with the superior genetics of AI Sires such as Midland,BR New Design 036, BR New Dimension 7127, Alberda Traveler 416, EXAR Expand, Roths Millcreek Unique, Vermillion Yellowstone, Future Direction and Hingai 469.

Traversdale Top Cat has been our comparable backup herd sire. He is a Stevenson Fortune son out of an Ardrossan Wilcoola cow. In 2004 he was replaced by Exploration.

CLR Exploration  - a Tasmanian bull that was purchased at the Angus National Expo in Wodonga as our new backup sire.

Birubi New Design Y419 - a Bon View New Design son out of Glenord Brolga N5. Currently used as a backup sire on our top Angus cows as well as being used over our 3/4 Lim-Flex females.
